Writing

- Total length should be no longer than 500 words, ideally 300-400
- Powerful title

- First paragraph is most important
- Answer who, what, where, when, why, and how. Include data points if you can to really catch the reader.
- 2nd paragraph should address 'Why Now' (make it up)
- Go into more specifics of your company and the announcement. Explain what this announcement means for the reader and journalist. Include a datapoint.
- Quick history and positive company stats – “ABC company was founded in 2019 and has grown from our two-person operation into a staff of thirty.”
- Readable, informative concepts that journalists and layman reader will understand
- Can include fundraising amount (get creative)
- 3rd Paragraph should include a quote from the pioneer, president, or developmental lead on the programme. Quote should be upbeat and forward looking.
- 4th Paragraph should include 1–2 lines about how this announcement is relevant to the bigger, market and talk about or hint at future plans of the company. Include a datapoint if possible.
- End with

- An "About Section" or Boilerplate for copying and pasting how you describe your company
- Boilerplate formula: Aspiration + Benefits + Products / Services + Size (if you’re big)
